2010 Update
As of August 31, 2010 Walk This Way hardcopy materials are no longer be available through PARC (Physical Activity Resource Centre). Walk This Way online materials will continue to be available. PARC is in the process of exploring potential partnerships to manage the resource going forward.
Walk This Way is a set of self-help program materials intended to assist men and women, ages 20-64+, in beginning and adhering to a walking regimen to increase their physical activity levels and prevent the onset of a stroke.
The WTW kit is aimed at adults in the Contemplation and Preparation Stage of Change (according to Prochaska and DiClemente’s model). These adults are thinking about becoming active, or have been active for less than 6 months.
