PARC invites you to attend a workshop hosted by a Nancy Dubois, a health promotion consultant with over 20 years in the field, and expertise in policy development.
Participants will be provided with the opportunity to learn and apply skills related to all aspects of policy change,
from assessment to application, and gain practical tips, tools and techniques for policy development.

Dr. Amy Latimer will be discussing evidence-based recommendations for developing physical activity messages to motivate Canadians to meet the new Canadian Physical Activity Guidelines at:
“Let’s talk about physical activity behavior change”
Space is limited, so please register early to avoid disappointment. Please only register for one of the above listed dates, as the same information will be discussed at both presentations.
Participants need a computer with high-speed internet access and a separate phone line. Several participants can share a computer and phone line, so that more than one person per location can participate.

L’activité physique 101

Ce webinaire est une introduction à la promotion de l'activité physique; une visite guidée des nouvelles lignes directrices en matière d'activité physique et le soutien disponible à travers de PARC (Physical Activity Resource Centre). Au cours de cette session, nous aborderons les thématiques suivantes : principes de la promotion de l'activité physique, organisations clés, ressources essentielles et problèmes courants. PARC a été créé en 2003 et est géré par l'Association ontarienne pour la santé et l'éducation physique (Ophea). PARC apporte son soutien aux agents en promotion de l'activité physique ainsi qu'aux leaders communautaires travaillant dans des unités de santé publiques, des centres de santé communautaire, des organisations sportives et de loisir et des organisations non-gouvernementales pour accroitre les opportunités de mener une vie active et saine en Ontario.

PARC was established in 2003 and is managed by Ophea. PARC supports physical activity promoters and key community leaders working in public health, community health centres, recreation and sport organizations, and non-government organizations to enhance opportunities for healthy active living in Ontario.
