The Resource Database is a collection of existing programs, resources and services that physical activity promoters across Ontario have developed. Before you develop a new physical activity program, search the PARC Resource Database first to see what your colleagues have already created and successfully implemented.
Physical Activity Matters Monthly is an online resource that explores different physical activity topics and includes up-to-date information, research, new resources and events in the world of physical activity promotion. Walk This Way is a set of self-help program materials intended to assist men and women, ages 20-64+, to start and adhere to a walking regimen to increase their physical activity levels and prevent the onset of a stroke. PARC distributes copies of this resource for free, and provides implementation support to physical activity leaders. Walk This Way is available in English and French, and has been adapted for the Aboriginal Community, and for the workplace setting.
