Adaptable Workshops

The Physical Activity Resource Centre (PARC) has developed workshop materials on a variety of topics for Physical Activity Promoters to adapt and present in their own communites.  They are intended to be used with groups of adult learners and can be adapted to the specific context and experience of the participants.

These online workshops include lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, and handouts (i.e., list of activities, list of resources, etc.)

The workshops are designed for a duration of 90 - 120 minutes, but you are welcome to adapt them to your needs. We also encourage you to "mix & match" components of the workshops. For example, an icebreaker from a different workshop may be more appropriate to your group or you may find one of the support documents from another workshop to be useful to your participants.

If you develop additional support documents, we encourage you to send us a copy for inclusion on this website. We always welcome suggestions for improvements to the workshop outlines.
